Let’s say you are in Berlin and you are looking for an English-Speaking voice-over actress with an American accent. How can you find the right US native speaker that best fits your needs?
It doesn’t matter if you are in Paris, Berlin, Rome, London, Stockholm, Monaco, or Prague. Today, it’s possible to hire a voice-over actor or actress and work with them remotely. (To learn more about working remotely with a voice-over talent, check out part 2 of this blog post here!)

Here are a few ideas for your search.
Search Engines:
I mentioned this in my previous blog post called How do you find a North American Woman Voice Over Actress, but it’s worth mentioning again.

If you are looking to work with a voice over actress directly and do not want to go through an agency, my advice is to type what you are looking for into your favorite search engine.
You will then find different websites, and you can listen to voice over demos and contact the actor or actress directly. The terms that you can use inside the search engine will depend on what type of project you have, but here are a few ideas to get you started:
Native English-Speaking Voice Over Actress in Europe
American voice over talent in Europe
Voice over actress in Europe
E-learning voice-over actress in Europe
Voice actress with US accent in Europe
Voice over talent for corporate videos in Europe
Word of mouth: Ask other professionals, either in your organization or in other business settings. Ask them if they have already worked with voice over professionals in Europe and if they could recommend someone.

Communication Agencies: If you are not already working with a communication agency for your project, you might want to consider contacting one to help you with your European voice over search.

Communication agencies specialize in branding and content. Today, videos are becoming more and more important in content creation. Therefore, communication agencies need to know the different steps to take when it comes to creation and, this is good news for you!
If you still need ideas or aren’t having any luck with these ideas, then you can find ten more ideas in this blog article.
Now, let’s imagine that you have found the perfect voice for your project. How do you work remotely with your voice over actor or actress? Find out here in the 2nd part of this blog series.
