I’m so excited to announce the very first in-person meetup of The VO Social Paris!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 27th, 2025, starting at 2 PM at La Felicità inside Station F. We'll be there until the early hours of the morning! Whether you’re new to the voice-over industry or a seasoned pro, this is a great opportunity to connect with fellow voice actors, producers, engineers, and other professionals here in Paris.

What is The Voiceover Social?

The Voiceover Social was born out of the simple need for voice actors to escape the isolation of their recording booths and spend time with people who get this wonderfully weird industry.

It all started in 2015 in Manchester, thanks to the brilliant duo Nic Redman and Leah Marks, who created a space for voiceover professionals to meet, mingle, share stories, and support one another. Since then, The Voiceover Social has grown into an international community led by Helen and Rob Bee with local groups across the UK and Europe, a popular industry podcast, and a calendar full of friendly, informal social events, like the legendary Great Big VO Social that I had the chance to attend myself.

The heartbeat of The VO Social has always been about connection, kindness, and fun. And now, I’m thrilled that Michael Ashtiany and I are bringing that same spirit to Paris.

Why Come to The Voiceover Social Paris?

When I first discovered The VO Social, I was instantly hooked. I’ve had the chance to attend several of their events, and they are gatherings that truly capture the heart of our industry. It’s not just about networking; it’s about community, sharing, learning, and supporting each other in a profession that can sometimes feel very solitary.

That’s exactly the spirit I want to bring to Paris: A warm, relaxed, and inclusive space where we can chat about the joys (and the quirks!) of our craft, swap tips about home studio setups, discuss upcoming projects, and simply enjoy being part of a local VO community.

Who Is It For?

This event is open to anyone working in or passionate about the voice-over industry, including:

  • Voice over actors or artists (beginners, pros, and everyone in between)

  • Sound engineers

  • Casting agents

  • Producers

  • Content creators

  • Anyone curious about the world of voice over!

Whether you’ve got decades of experience or you’re just getting started, you’re welcome.

The VO Social is all about connection, not competition.

Want to Learn More About The VO Social Paris?

I’ll be talking all about The VO Social Paris, what to expect, and why it matters during my guest appearance on Estelle Hubert’s Apéro Voice, a live voice-over industry talk happening on September 5th. It’s a great opportunity to hear more about the community we’re building and how you can be a part of it.
